Federal Hill Smokehouse: A Destination for Delicious Barbecue Sandwiches

What a great place!!!! Everything is so good here brisket, sausage, beef ribs. All fantastic. Especially w their spicy sauce. You can check out there smoke room through a glass door. I highly recommend this spot.

A first time experience for my family. Picked up the dinners and treated the family. The service was excellent and so efficient! The food was amazing, the rub on the ribs just perfect. All meat done to perfection. Mac and cheese my favorite and those pinto beans are full of meat and amazing. I drove from Jamestown to the smokehouse and it will definitely be a regular treat for the fam! Thanks guys!

Was in the area for work and came across Federal Hill so I decided to give them a shot. Even though it was a Friday, and at lunch time, the line for service really moved along briskly. The service was fast and efficient. The atmosphere is super laid back, with the restaurant being open and inviting. They have a number of different options, but I chose the pulled pork which was a generous portion and smoked perfectly. The sides were really enjoyable, especially the coleslaw which was a perfect match to the pulled pork. Parking was available street side.

Service was friendly and prompt. The pulled pork and the brisket were excellent - moist and had excellent flavor. The sauce choices available were good - though I wish more were available. If you like your mac and cheese creamy and cheesy (I do) - you'll love it here. Prices felt perfect for the portion sizes and low for the quality. A real hidden gem in Erie - highly recommended.

Absolutely delicious. My rib was so juicy and tender, not to mention the sausage nice big and plump and juicy , the pulled pork very tender and plenty of flavor. The beans were really really good but the macaroni and cheese was extremely delicious. One of my new found barbecue places. And traveling from Ohio. I'm only about an hour and 10 minutes away. Keep up the great work. Very impressed

Federal Hill Smokehouse is legit BBQ. The pricing is fair and not a run for your money. If you are hesitant of BBQ joints that sell you the idea of high quality but at a premium, this will deliver at a value and deliciously. Portion sizes are fair and the pricing is also fair. They are churning a profit, but not at your expense. If you have traveled the country and visited alot of BBQ you will see what I mean. Everything is flavorful, and don't skip the sides. No fuzz no frills, combo plates or by the lb Paper wrapped and made with love, 11-3 until sold out. This is everything BBQ should be.

I just moved to Erie and heard I HAD to come here. My husband and I both got the 2 meat plates. We were too late for the brisket which is a such a shame we’ll have to come back (Sarcasm). We got the sausage and turkey and the ribs and turkey. We each got different sides so we could try them all. The Mac n chz was creamy and delicious.

This is one the best lunch spots in Erie!! Rustic & Delicious!! They are so nice and they are quick!! Why would you eat fast food when you could eat like this in no time!!
